some excuses for my long absence
Sorry it’s been forever since I posted anything! Life has been going about a million miles an hour for me, between moving to a new place (still in progress), graduating, visits from family, day trips to Moab, and shooting like crazy, it’s been hard to find a second to do anything.
I’ve got some great bridals and engagements coming up, but in the meantime here are some photos from Moab with the family.

all joking aside
Happy April Fools day everybody!
I thought today would be as good a day as any to announce some new PROMOTIONS I’m doing! If any of you out there are engaged this is a chance to get some seriously awesome value for great photography (if I do say so myself). So here it is:
+If you schedule a wedding consultation with me, you’ll get a free engagement or bridal session whether you book me for your wedding or not. If you do end up buying a wedding package, I’ll subtract $200 from the price. A wedding consultation is basically you and me meeting up to talk about your wedding and to see whether we might be a good fit.
+I’ll be at the upcoming Bridal Fair in Provo, and if you come say hi to me at my booth and leave your name and email, you’ll get a 30% discount when you book a wedding package (you don’t have to book that day, you just have to give me your name and email).
+The Bridal Fair will also be raffling off a free engagement or bridal session by yours truly, so make sure you enter for that as well!
NO JOKE. This is going to be awesome!
P.S.: I’ve got to thank my coworkers, who let me rope them into posing for my goofy photos. Houston is an old pal and an awesome illustrator, Britney is one of our editors here at BYU Magazine, and Brad is pretty much the best boss I’ve ever had. He is also one of the people behind Seeing The Everyday, a really beautiful magazine.
*all of these portraits were were shot wide open at f 1.2 with my new 85mm lens on a 5d mark II.
