Here’s a little sneak peak from Leslie and Brandon’s bridal session… I couldn’t resist!

 

I hope all of you have a fabulous Thanksgiving! Enjoy your Turkey (or Tofurkey, as the case may be). I’ll be downing as much of my sister in law’s awesome cranberry sauce as I can get my hands on and making this apple tart for the third year running.

 

I’m drowning in editing at the moment, but I’ve got some great shoots to share starting next week. Stay tuned for that. In the meantime, here are just a few of the many many many things I’m grateful for. How about you? What’s at the top of your gratitude list?

 

•The beautiful weddings coming up in the 2012 season. This hotel and a Monique Lhuillier? Yes please!
•My job. It’s seriously the best.
•And then there’s the part where I get to do that job with my favorite person in the whole world (my husband).
•Family.
•Good music.
•Light.
•Scarves and cardigans.
•Technology. Both old and new.
•Homemade applesauce, oatmeal, french cheese, and all the other foods I couldn’t live without.
•Stripes. I love stripes.

Happy April fools day! I always love seeing the various pranks that circulate around the internet. Though they’re not always uproariously funny in and of themselves, it’s nice to see that the big guys have a sense of humor. Remember when Kodak launched aromatography last year? This time Google has announced Gmail Motion, which allows you to ditch outdated gadgets like your mouse and keyboard and use your body to control Gmail. Check it out, and make sure you watch the video!

Also, pretty much everything on ThinkGeek is April fools worthy, though a lot of it is actually real. I particularly like the Playmobil Apple Store (watch the video), and Angry Birds Pork Rinds.

So, this week was my birthday and I’m feeling quite grown up. This is largely due to the fact that said birthday coincided with my last week working at Publications & Graphics, which means that I am now 100% self employed!

Though I’ll miss my job and my awesome co-workers, I’m really excited to be able to totally devote myself to my business.

I’ve got big plans for improvements, so you can expect to see:

-A mega website revamping

-Some much needed portfolio updates

-Pricing adjustments I think you’ll like

-New offerings (did someone say hair and makeup styling for engagements/bridals? YESSSS!)

-And of course, much more of yours truly
