As many of you might know, my husband Andy and I have started offering video coverage to brides who want to document their day with photography and a film. He has a great eye and passion for what he does. I want to congratulate him on his recent award from the Utah Film Commission. He won the 2011 Spot On Campaign Award with his entry, “Utah is Epic”. We’ve had such an amazing time shooting these commercial spots (camping, day tripping, and generally gallivanting all over the state for the last four months) so it’s really a pleasure to see them succeed. Yep, it’s that time of year again. To ring in the beautiful autumn season–one of my favorite times of year–I’m bringing back the Fall Portrait Sale! If you book a portrait session for October or November you’ll get a fabulous deal plus extra goodies.
Fall Portrait Sessions come with two hours of coverage at unlimited locations, individual portraits of each family member, no limits on separate family groupings, custom holiday cards with envelopes, a web resolution disc of all images, retouching, and online proofing. Whew! That’s $200 worth of coverage and extras for only $100.
Though these sessions are really popular for family portraits, they can also be used for couples sessions, baby or child portraits, as well as individual portraits.

We now offer pre-wedding films! This has been some time in the making and we’re very excited to be able to provide our clients with more than just the standard photo shoot.
Pre-wedding films focus completely on you and your fiance, featuring beautiful shots of the two of you together in one or several locations of your choice. It can include interviews or be purely visual depending on what you’d prefer. Your film will be shot in conjunction with your bridal or engagement session, so your photos and video will complement one another perfectly.
I’m thrilled to announce that I’m going to be at the spring Bridal Extravaganza tomorrow! It’s from 11 to 5:30 at the South Towne Expo Center in Sandy.
I hope you guys will come check it out and say hi (I’ll be in booth number one). This show is going to be huge–there will be more vendors, giveaways, and events than at any other bridal show in Utah–so if you’re planning a wedding you should definitely stop by.
