Engagement Sessions

Your engagement session is about an hour of just the two of you captured on camera. It's a chance to be together somewhere beautiful while I follow your lead and make sure you look great doing it. That way, you get some wonderful photos together and get comfortable working with me long before your wedding day.

I'll give you plenty of direction so you never feel like you're standing around wondering what to do with your hands. But I also leave room for the in-between moments. The laugh after a prompt lands funny, the quiet look when you think the camera isn't watching. Those are usually the ones you'll love most.

Choosing a Location

Utah gives us a lot to work with. Canyon vistas, wildflower meadows, Park City's main street, downtown Salt Lake, beautiful gardens – the variety here is genuinely hard to beat. Whatever feel you're going for, there's a location that fits.

Once you reach out, I'll ask a few questions about the vibe you're going for and put together some specific ideas based on the season and your preferences. Finding the right location is part of what I do.

What to Wear

Wear something you feel like yourself in. A second outfit is totally fine if you want variety – we can work it in.
