Every wedding I photograph also includes a hybrid video highlight reel. It's a short, cinematic glimpse of your day set to original music. It's edited to capture the feeling of it all, not just the moments. Most reels run one to three minutes and are easy to watch, share, and return to again and again.

I capture slow-motion video clips throughout your wedding day in tandem with the photography. There's no interruption to photo coverage and no second crew to coordinate. Andy (my husband, video expert, and editor extraordinaire) edits the footage into a polished highlight reel set to original music chosen to match the mood of your day.

It's worth knowing that this isn't full videography. There's no audio recording of vows or speeches, and no dedicated camera operator following the day separately. What it is is something genuinely beautiful and easy to love, a way to see your day move.

For couples who aren't planning to hire a full video team, the highlight reel gives you a real video product without the complexity or cost of traditional videography. It's short enough to actually watch, and easy enough to share straight from your phone.

For couples who are hiring a videographer, it works beautifully alongside full video coverage as a quick, shareable companion piece.

Common Questions

Is the highlight reel really included with every wedding? Yes, always. It's part of every wedding I photograph, at no additional cost.

How long is the highlight reel? Most reels run one to three minutes. Long enough to tell the story, short enough to watch on repeat.

Can we request a specific song? Absolutely. We're happy to cut the reel to a song that's meaningful to you. Just keep in mind that if you share it to Instagram or other platforms, licensed music can sometimes get flagged or muted. Our original music is cleared for sharing everywhere.

When will we receive the highlight reel? Your reel is delivered along with your photo gallery within eight weeks of your wedding date.

Does the video include audio from our vows or speeches? No. This is a highlight reel, not full videography. There's no audio recording on the day. The final video is set to music only.

Do you work alongside a videographer? Yes, no problem at all. The hybrid video works well as a companion to full videography coverage.
